Umhlanga Ski-Boat Club is situated alongside one of the most scenic coastlines in Durban and is a hotspot for fishing.
Although we are primarily a fishing club, we also make a great place for the family to spend the weekend and enjoy making new memories out on the water.

Umhlanga Ski Boat Club is situated on Umhlanga Ridge close to Gateway Shopping Centre. Although we are primarily a fishing club, our facilities offer a great place for the family to spend the day enjoying good food, fun atmosphere and great entertainment. Our resident restaurant, Julio’s on the Ridge specialises in Portuguese style meals and our full service bar ensures that you can always find an ice cold refreshing beverage to enjoy.
Grannies Pool is the registered launch site which is located in front of the Pearls Shopping Centre with access from the Umhlanga Promenade. The launch site is classified as a surf launch and provides access to some of the best fishing grounds on the KZN coast.
